abstract = {"Maqatil al-Talibiyyin", written by Abul Faraj Esfahani (356 AH) is one of the most advanced sources. The purpose of the book is to introduce the uprisers from the generation of Abu Talib during the Umayyad and Abbasid regimes. The age of this source in Shia history and the Umayyad author of its lineage have attracted the attention of historians. The issue is whether he involved religious and family tendencies in writing the book or not? Also, what people and sources did the author use in narrating the news? Using deskresearch and analytical method, this article is organized. The role of his religion is evident in the book. The book is of special importance due to the narration of news whose original sources have been lost today. Also, the author's attention to accurate citation and mention of more documents and the use of numerous sources and professors in writing this book have turned it into a reliable work.},

abstract_fa ={«مقاتل الطالبیین»، تألیف ابوالفرج اصفهانی (م 356ق) از منابع متقدم است. هدف کتاب معرفی قیام‌کنندگان از نسل ابوطالب در ایام حکومت امویان و عباسیان بوده است. قدمت این منبع در تاریخ تشیع و مؤلف اموی‌نسب آن، توجه مورخان را به خود برانگیخته است. مسئله این است که آیا وی گرایش‌های مذهبی و خانوادگی را در نگارش کتاب دخالت داده و قابل اعتماد است؟ نیز مؤلف در نقل اخبار، از چه افراد و منابعی بهره برده است؟ تحقیق پیش رو با مطالعه منابع کتابخانه‌ای و تحلیل آنها سامان یافته است. نتیجه آنکه ابوالفرج اصفهانی شخصی با علایق شیعی و پیرو مذهب زیدیه بوده است. نقش مذهب وی در کتاب مشهود است. کتاب به سبب نقل اخباری که منابع اصلی آنها امروزه از بین رفته، اهمیت ویژه دارد. نیز توجه مؤلف به نقل دقیق و ذکر بیشتر اسناد و استفاده از منابع و استادان متعدد در تألیف این کتاب، آن‌ را به اثری قابل اعتماد تبدیل کرده است.},
