Mentioning the virtues of Abdullah ibn Abbas, Ali ibn Abdullah, Muhammad ibn Ali, and Ibrahim Imam constitute the main topics of this book. This research tries to examine the contents of the book, the context, the atmosphere and the conditions that were the author's motivation and purpose in writing this work. This research is based on the hypothesis that the influence of the Turks in the Abbasid Caliphate system led to a decrease in the political authority and respect for the Abbasid Caliphs among the people, especially the Divanians (officials). The author of this work most likely wrote his work with the motive of legitimizing the Abbasid Caliphate in the public mind, especially among independent and semi-independent states and Divanians. To achieve this goal, he has narrated and recorded narrations about the virtues of the Abbasid leaders and Imams during the period of invitation. Stating narrations about the virtues of the Abbasid leaders during the period of invitation and the author's refusal to state the internal conflicts of the claimants during this period prove this claim. کتاب «أخبار الدولة العباسیه» اثری مهم از مؤلفی ناشناخته است که دربارة عباسیان نگاشته شده است. ذکر فضایل عبدالله بن عباس، علی بن عبدالله، محمد بن علی و ابراهیم امام موضوعات اصلی این کتاب را تشکیل می‌دهد. این پژوهش درصدد است تا از محتویات کتاب، زمینه، فضا و شرایطی را که انگیزه و هدف مؤلف در تألیف این اثر بوده، بررسی کند. این تحقیق بر این فرضیه استوار است که نفوذ ترکان در دستگاه خلافت عباسی، موجب کاهش اقتدار سیاسی و کاهش حرمت خلفای عباسی در نگاه مردم، به‌ویژه دیوانیان شد. مؤلف این اثر به ‌احتمال قریب‌ به ‌یقین، اثر خود را با انگیزة مشروعیت‌بخشی به خلافت عباسی در اذهان عمومی و به‌ویژه نزد دولت‌های مستقل و نیمه‌مستقل و دیوانیان نگاشته است. او برای دستیابی به این هدف، به نقل و ثبت روایاتی دربارة فضایل رهبران و امامان عباسی در دورة دعوت پرداخته است. دلیل اثبات این مدعا نقل روایات منقبتی دربارة رهبران عباسی دورة دعوت و خودداری مؤلف از بیان مناقشات درونی داعیان در این دوره است. https://tarikh.nashriyat.ir/sites/tarikh.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2022053-1757995930.pdf
