It aims at overcoming the difficulties of historical analysis – as far as possible – through a look at the history of the analysis wherein the necessity of discussing the Prophet's way of life is stated on the one hand, and of discussing its historical analysis on the other hand. These difficulties are as follows: difficult historical judgments, scantiness of analytical texts, and especially analysis of Revealed texts that uncovers the necessity of seeking bases that can be used in true analysis of the Prophet's way of life. Clarifying such bases forms the final section of the paper; it also deals with subjects such as coincidence of transmission and reviewing, transmission and analysis, finding reasonable philosophy, coherence and relationship of events and referencing to the Quran. اين مقاله، از سيره نبوي و راهكارهاي تحليلي آن سخن به ميان آورده و به جاي تأكيد و تمركز بر تاريخ و آموزه‌هاي آن، به «تحليلي تاريخي» روي آورده است تا از پيامد آن بتوان به ژرفاي پرگستره سيره نبوي دست يازيد و بدين‌سان با نظر به خاستگاه تاريخ تحليلي كه در آن از ضرورت بحث و بررسي در سيره نبوي، از يك سو، و تحليل تاريخي آن از سوي ديگر، سخن به ميان مي‌رود، بتوان در حد مقدور بر دشواري‌هاي تحليل تاريخي غلبه كرد. اين دشواري‌ها عبارت‌اند از: داوري‌هاي مشكل تاريخي، كمبود متون تحليلي و مشخصاً تحليل امور وحياني كه از ضرورت پي‌جويي و نشان‌گرفتن از شالوده‌ها و بنيان‌هايي پرده بر مي‌دارد كه مي‌توان از آنها در تحليل راستين سيره نبوي سود جست. نماياندن چنين شالوده‌هايي، بخش پاياني نوشته را در برگرفته و به مواردي چون هم‌زماني نقل و نقد، نقل و تحليل، حكمت‌يابي معقول، ارتباط و پيوستگي رويدادها و منبع‌دهي به قرآن اشاره شده است. مقاله با معرفي كوتاهي از روش تحليل جامع‌نگر و ارائه نتيجه‌گيري كلي، برخود مهر ختام زده است.
