While monitoring the political atmosphere of Medina and the areas around, he adopted different political strategies in a step-by-step manner so as to propagate Islam. Through a descriptive-analytical method and by examining the Qur’anic verses, historical sources and hadith books, the present study aims at the question ‘what political strategies did the prophet use to establish and spread Islam?’ According to the results of this study, the prophet could successfully implement his political strategies with the international nature of Islam in mind and a peaceful reformistic outlook. Also, while reinforcing his domestic policies, he tried to broaden his strategic policies across the areas outside his dominion. His political movement was proportionate to his sociopolitical power. In other words, he chose to take measures for and against the upcoming issues on the basis of how powerful he felt. As a major point regarding his political strategies, outsiders were not allowed to infiltrate into the Muslim society پیامبر اکرم(ص) با وجود مشکلات متعدد سیاسی، اجتماعی و... با بکارگیری راهبردهای سیاسی توانست تحولات سیاسی عظیمی در جزیرة العرب ایجاد و ظرف ده سال اسلام را، نه تنها در مدینه، بلکه در قبایل اطراف و برخی از حکومت¬های همجوار نفوذ دهد. پیامبر(ص) با رصد و پایش فضای سیاسی مدینه و اطراف آن، از راهبردهای سیاسی گوناگون به صورت گام به گام بهره برد تا اسلام را ترویج دهد. این مقاله به شیوه توصیفی تحلیلی و با بررسی آیات قرآن، منابع تاریخی و حدیثی در مقام پاسخ بدین سؤال است که پیامبر اکرم از کدامیک از راهبردهای سیاسی برای ترویج و تثبیت اسلام استفاده کرد؟ نتایج پژوهش نشانگر آن است که پیامبر(ص) با دیدگاه جهانی¬ بودن اسلام و با نگرشی اصلاح¬مدارانه و مسالمت¬آمیز راهبردهای سیاسی خود را با موفقیت بکار گرفت و در عین انسجام¬بخشی سیاسی در داخل، سیاست استراتژیک خود را در خارج نفوذ داد. میزان تحرکات سیاسی آن حضرت متناسب با اقتدار اجتماعی و سیاسی ایشان بود و بر اساس میزان قدرت، مدارا یا اقدام می¬نمود. از نکات مهم در راهبردهای سیاسی ایشان، عدم اجازه به بیگانگان در نفوذ به جامعه اسلامی بود که علاوه بر سد راه نفوذ آنان در حکومت اسلامی، اقتدار آن را افزایش داد.
