In this paper, while reviewing these traditions, the writer has made an attempt to calculate the number of people present at Qadir by considering the existing documents and using analytical method as well as other historical evidences in estimating the Medinian population during the last years of the Prophet's life. درباره تعداد جمعيت حاضر در روى‏داد مهم و تاريخى غديرخم اقوال و روايات متفاوتى وجود دارد. در اين نوشتار، ضمن بررسى اين روايات، تلاش شده است با ملاحظه شواهد و قراين، و با شيوه تحليلى، در مورد جمعيت مدينه در سال‏هاى پايانى حيات رسول‏خدا صلى‏الله‏عليه‏و‏آله، و نيز با بهره‏گيرى از ديگر قراين تاريخى، تعداد حاضران در غدير محاسبه شود.
