Now in this part, the writer reviews some of the religious arguments for history as a rule-governed entity. In sum, the Quranic verses While asserting the existence of "Divine Practice" (Divine Sunnah) in history, and inviting human beings to get lessons from the past events or experiences and even ask them to travel to various parts of the world, or considering the histories of peoples in the past as a guide for human beings, clearly proves history to be a rule-governed entity. در بخش نخست اين مقاله، قانون‏مندى تاريخ از منظر عقلانى مورد بررسى قرار گرفت، و اثبات شد كه تحولات تاريخ نيز مانند همه كنش‏ها و واكنش‏هاى هستى، مشمول نظام علّى و معلولى بوده و هويت مشترك انسان‏ها به عنوان سلول‏هاى اصلى جامعه و تاريخ، وجود قوانين مشترك را در تاريخ توجيه مى‏كند و اين سنت‏مندى تاريخ با آزادى انسان‏ها منافات ندارد، چرا كه در پديده‏ها و حوادث انسانى و اختيارى، همواره يكى از اجزاى علت تامه، اراده خود انسان‏هاست. اكنون در اين بخش، برخى از ادله دينى سنت‏مند بودن تاريخ را مورد بررسى قرار مى‏دهيم كه به طور خلاصه مى‏توان گفت: آيات قرآنى كه به وجود «سنت‏هاى الهى» در تاريخ تصريح نموده، انسان‏ها را به عبرت‏آموزى يا سير و سفر در سرزمين‏هاى گوناگون دعوت مى‏نمايد و نيز سرگذشت اقوام گذشته را راهنماى هدايت بشر مطرح مى‏نمايند، قانون‏مندى تاريخ را از منظر دين به وضوح اثبات مى‏كنند
