Although they couldn't play their proper role in giving Imam Ali and the Prophet's household strong support in the Saqifa Event because of their strong rival, Quraysh, which were supporteed by hypocrites, they were always loyal to Imam Ali and the Prophet's household, and were not hostile to them. They were engaged in the Saqifa Event so as to prevent the Quraysh's dominion, because the Quraysh intended to deprive the Prophet's household of their rights. This paper, investigates the Helpers' relationship with Imam Ali. انصار از ياران مخلص پيامبر صلى‏الله‏عليه‏و‏آله و عموماً طرف‏دار اهل‏بيت عليهم‏السلام و امام على عليه‏السلامبودند و در ميان اصحاب رسول‏خدا صلى‏الله‏عليه‏و‏آلهاكثريت ياران اهل‏بيت و امير مؤمنان عليه‏السلام را تشكيل مى‏دادند. آنان اگرچه به علت وجود رقيب قدرت‏مندى چون قريش و وجود منافقان طرف‏دار قريش، نتوانستند در جريان سقيفه آن‏گونه كه لازم بود نقش خود را در دفاع آشكار از امير مؤمنان و اهل‏بيت عليهم‏السلام به درستى ايفا كنند، ولى آنان همواره به اهل‏بيت و امام على عليهم‏السلام علاقه‏مند بوده و با آنان دشمنى نداشتند. آنان به منظور جلوگيرى از تسلط قريش كه قصد محروم كردن اهل‏بيت را داشتند، در ماجراى سقيفه وارد شدند. در اين تحقيق رابطه انصار با امير مؤمنان عليه‏السلام بررسى شده است
