This is evident even during the time when such tribes as Mongols who were known for their unfamiliarity with Islamic religion and civilization had invaded Iran and destroyed everything and they were relentless even to the libraries and scientific centers which they set on fire. The scientists and men of culture of that time strove to have these centers repaired. In fact, Iran experienced socio-political developments during the period between the rule of the Ilkhanids and Teymur’s taking over in 736 -782 'AH', i.e. between the time of the death of Ilkhanid Sultan Abu Said and Teymur's first attack on Iran, which led to the formation of new states, some of which lasted less than a century. The present paper tries to shed light on one of these states of that period and find the role of the Mozaffars in the Islamic civilization. The research is based on a library-survey method. عامل تمدن و فرهنگ همواره یکی از مهم ترین و تعیین کننده ترین عوامل در حیات سیاسی ایران بوده است. این موضوع، حتی با وجود تهاجم اقوامی چون مغولان که کوچک ترین آشنایی با مذهب و تمدن اسلامی را نداشتند تداوم داشت، مغولان افزون بر خرابی ها و ویرانی هایی که به بار آوردند، حتی به کتابخانه و مراکز علمی هم رحم نکرده و آنها را به آتش کشیدند اما در عین حال، دانشمندان و فرهنگ دوستان به ترمیم این مراکز و احیای آن پرداختند. در واقع، دوره فترتی که بین ایلخانان و ظهور تیمور، آمد، ایران را با دگرگونی های سیاسی ـ اجتماعی روبه رو کرد و باعث پیدایش حکومت هایی شد که عمر برخی به صد سال هم نمی کشید. ما برآنیم نقش آل مظفر را در تمدن اسلامی در این دوره مورد توجه قرار دهیم. این کار بر اساس شیوه تحقیق کتابخانه ای انجام گرفته است. https://tarikh.nashriyat.ir/sites/tarikh.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/4_4.pdf
