abstract = {Possession of command in Hajj in the 9th century is one of the most important and controversial issues of Islamic history. Many Shiite and Sunni scholars believe that the Prophet (pbuh) put someone in charge of hajj in the 9th AH and personally assumed responsibility in Hijat al-Weda’ the next year. Some Shiites of Imam Ali (AS), and most of the Sunni, have introduced Abu Bakr as the one in charge of hajj in the 9th AH. This study has examined this issue in detail, and by carefully studying the existing views, it has proven that, contrary to the commonly-held view, in that year no was appointed by the Prophet (pbuh) to be in charge of Haji; he appointed first Abu Bakr and then Imam Ali (AS) to this task only to convey the verses of Surah al-Bīrāt. However, both groups have cited a number of arguments which, after investigation, all prove to be weak, and eventually serious flaws are found in the ideas of both of them. On the contrary, many of the authentic narrations and valid historical propositions explicitly prove the opposite.},

abstract_fa ={امارت حج در سال نهم هجری، از مسائل مهم و بحث برانگیز تاریخ اسلام است. بسیاری از اندیشمندان شیعه و سنی بر این عقیده اند که پیامبر اکرم صلی الله علیه و آله وسلم در سال نهم هجری شخصی را متصدی این منصب نموده و در سال بعد، در حجةالوداع، شخصاً این مسئولیت را به عهده گرفته است. برخی شیعیان حضرت علی علیه السلام، و بیشتر اهل سنت، ابوبکر را متصدی این امر در سال نهم هجری معرفی کرده اند.                       
	در این پژوهش، این مسئله به تفصیل بررسی شده و با بررسی دقیق نظرهای موجود، اثبات شده که بر خلاف قول مشهور، در این سال امیر الحاجی از سوی پیامبر صلی الله علیه و آله وسلم انتخاب نشده و ایشان فقط برای ابلاغ آیات سوره برائت، ابتدا ابوبکر و سپس حضرت علی علیه السلام را متصدی این امر نموده اند. با این حال، هر دو گروه برای مدعای خود، به دلایل متعددی استناد کرده اند که پس از بررسی، در نهایت ثابت خواهد شد که دلایل هر دو گروه ضعیف و دارای اشکالات مهمی است و در مقابل، نص صریح بسیاری از روایات صحیح السند و گزاره های تاریخی موثق خلاف آن را ثابت می کند.},
