abstract = {Comparative studies are one of the adopted methods of research in humanities, in which researchers find a deeper knowledge by comparing two phenomena or views with each other and examining the similarities and differences between them. Acquiring a deep undressing about their time, historians study the factors of the rise and fall of civilizations by comparing the civilizations with their own time. But, due to some difficulties, perhaps some scholars may avoid the comparative study of history, such as undue comparison, its impossibility or non-scientificness. After explaining the reasons for the possibility of historical adaptation, this paper has criticized two extremist and negligence perspectives on historical comparison, and has mentioned issues, such as identifying similarities and focusing on esoteric similarities, evaluating the ineffectiveness of distinctions in similarities and utilizing comprehensive formats as a criterion and scientific method for valid historical comparison},

abstract_fa ={مطالعات تطبیقی یکی از روش های مقبول تحقیق در علوم انسانی به شمار می آید که طی آنها، محقق با مقایسه‌ی دو پدیده یا دیدگاه با یکدیگر و بررسی وجوه تشابه و تفاوت آنها، شناخت عمیق تری نسبت به آنها پیدا می کند. محققان تاریخ برای بررسی علل رویش و فراز و فرود تمدن ها، از مقایسه‌ی تمدن ها بایکدیگر استفاده می کنند؛ یا با تطبیق تاریخ بر زمانه‌ی خود، شناخت خویش را از زمانه‌ی خود عمق می بخشند. ولی شاید بعضی از محققان از مطالعات تطبیقی در تاریخ، به علت برخی دشواری ها، همچون گرفتار آمدن در دام تطبیق های ناروا پرهیز  کنند و حتی آن را غیرممکن و غیرعلمی تلقی نمایند. در این پژوهش، بعد از بیان دلایل امکان تطبیق تاریخی، دو دیدگاه  افراطی و تفریطی موجود در خصوص تطبیق  تاریخی، نقد گردیده است، و اموری همچون شناسایی شباهت ها و عبور از شباهت های ظاهری به شباهت های باطنی، ارزیابی عدم تأثیر وجوه تمایز در وجوه تشابه، بهره وری از قالب های فراگیر به عنوان معیار و روش علمی تطبیق تاریخی معتبر مطرح شده است.},
