Without mentioning any place, time, and folk, the Holy Quran has pointed to the components and characteristics of ignorance, but in order to clarify more for the primary audience of the Quran, the ignorant Arabs; it enumerates examples of the culture of ignorance in the Arabian Peninsula. In this regard, one should not limit ignorance just in the Arabian Peninsula. On the eve of the advent of Islam, Iran, as one of the significant and civilized geographic areas, was an example of the culture of ignorance. Analyzing the culture of the Ignorance Time in one of the important sectors of society, i.e. the women and family system in contemporary Iran with the advent of Islam is the purpose of this paper. The general topics under discussion include: the status of women in the view of Iranians coincided with the advent of Islam, the types of marriage, behavior with women and children, and analyzing the backgrounds and factors of this situation. فرهنگ جاهلی در دوره‌ی پیش از اسلام بر همه جا سایه افکنده بود. در قرآن کریم بدون آنکه از مکان، زمان و قوم خاصی نام ببرد به مؤلفه ها و ویژگی های جاهلیت اشاره کرده است، اما برای فهم بیشتر مخاطبان اولیه، که همان عرب جاهلی بود، نمونه هایی از فرهنگ جاهلی در جزیرة العرب را برشمرده است. بدین لحاظ، نباید جاهلیت را منحصر در جزیرة العرب دانست. در آستانه‌ی ظهور اسلام، ایران به عنوان یکی از مناطقِ دارای اهمیتِ جغرافیایی و سوابق تمدنی، مشحون از نمونه های فرهنگ جاهلی بود. در این نوشتار به تحلیل نمودهای فرهنگ جاهلی در یکی از بخش های مهم جامعه، یعنی حوزه‌ی زنان و نظام خانواده در ایران معاصر ظهور اسلام می پردازیم. محورهای کلی مورد بحث، عبارت است از: چگونگی جایگاه و منزلت زنان در نگاه ایرانیانِ مقارن ظهور اسلام، گونه های ازدواج، چگونگی رفتار با زنان و فرزندان، و در نهایت، تحلیل زمینه ها و عوامل این وضعیت. https://tarikh.nashriyat.ir/sites/tarikh.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/4_15.pdf
