abstract = {Many of the people of the Levant have long been interested in the Umayyads dynasty. This interest started from the time of Mu'awiyah. By taking special measures, the Umayyads were able to attract the attention of people of the Levant and make them obedient and devoted. Above all, the Umayyads influenced people of the Levant by propaganda, the result of which was nothing but "ignorance." In fact, the element of ignorance, along with the use of psychological, social, economic and political factors, was the main factor in attracting people of the Levant. The result was the obedience of people of the Levant to the Umayyads which has consequences such as obedience, self-sacrifice for the Umayyads, attempts to establish and expand the Umayyad government, hatred and enmity towards the Prophet's family, and finally establishment of Umayyad Islam. },

abstract_fa ={بسیاری از اهالی شام به خاندان بنی امیه علاقه داشته اند. این علاقه از دوران معاویه آغاز شده بود. امویان با در پیش گرفتن تدابیری خاص، توانستند نظر شامیان را به  سمت خود جلب کنند و آنان را مطیع و مشتاق خود نمایند. بنی امیه بیش از هر چیز مردم شام را در حصار تبلیغاتی قرار دادند که حاصل آن چیزی جز «جهل» نبود. در واقع، عنصر جهل در کنار استفاده از عوامل روانی، اجتماعی، اقتصادی و سیاسی، اصلی ترین عامل جذب شامیان به شمار می آمد. برایند این موضوع نیز در اطاعت پذیری مردم شام نمود یافت. تبعیت شامیان از امویان، بازخوردها و پیامدهایی نظیر اطاعت، جانفشانی برای بنی امیه، تلاش برای تثبیت و گسترش حاکمیت امویان، بغض و دشمنی نسبت  به خاندان رسالت، و در نهایت حاکم شدن اسلام اموی را به  همراه داشت.},
