Sufism was a sect that separated itself from the surrounding environment by asceticism and self-cultivation, and became an independent sect by fertilizing theoretical foundations. Their social and religious development in the third century coincided with the Imamate of Imam Hasan Askari (peace be upon him). Despite the extent of the activities of this sect, in the era of Imam Hassan Askari (peace be upon him) and the position of the previous imams with deviant sects, it seems necessary to understand how and why the Imam's position regarding this phenomenon. In this research, due to the paucity of first-hand sources about the Sufi sect and the lack of historical reports of the Imam's encounter with them, we were forced to use narrative sources in order to analyze the Imam's encounter with this sect by using the documentary and content analysis of the existing traditions. get The limited opportunity of Imam Hasan Askari (peace be upon him) during his imamate period, political restrictions, the need to stabilize the imamate, the birth of the twelfth Imam (a.s.) and the preservation of Shiite beliefs, did not allow the Imam to deal extensively with Sufis. However, that Hazrat warned his followers in the least expression to be associated with this sect.
