The political factors are a series of methods applied and measures taken by the ruling class to further their goals and preserve their control over society. Political factors are one of the most influential factors in the structure of society, other factors being economy, culture, militarism, religion, etc. In this study, the effect of political factors of religious struggles in Isfahan from the 4th century up to the 7th century has been discussed, and the political changes and their effect on struggles in Isfahan have been reviewed by posing the following question: "What was the effect of the religious leaning of authorities (rulers and governors) on religious struggles in Isfahan?"
