Abstract:
The reign of Amir al-Mu'minin (PBUH) is a symbol of the embodiment of the administration of the society by the most righteous man. Reviewing the history of this era, we find out that the management style of some officials was not to the satisfaction of his holiness and provided the basis for the ineffectiveness of the Islamic government. Using the fiqh al-hadithi analysis method, identifying the effects of inefficiency and the way to prevent managers' inefficiency, based on Nahj al-Balagha and historical documents, is the main goal of this paper. The manifestations of inefficiency identified in this paper include: Deviation from religion, unauthorized use of Bait-al-Mal (Treasury House), betrayal of the Bait-al-Mal, enjoyment and worldliness, differences in political views, dereliction of duty, betrayal and joining the enemy and misbehaving with people. Also, based on the observed narrative sources, to deal with the inefficiency of his managers, His Holiness used four methods, which are: I) Presenting a work plan for governors II) Frequent advice to governors III) Asking governors to live in a simple way IV) An emphasis on managerial ethics. This study can be a suitable method for monitoring and guiding governors of Islamic society.
