Abstract:
Before assuming the caliphate, the Abbasids introduced themselves as Ahl al-Bayt and Shiites, and after attaining the caliphate, they showed themselves as the avengers of this family by killing the Umayyads. However, they soon turned to the common people and broke ranks with their Alawi cousins. The question of the present study is: "What stance did Mansur take towards the first three Shiite Imams in order to confront the arguments and arguments of the Alawis?" By examining Mansur's views on the ancestors of the Alawites, one can speak correctly about the Abbasid sect. This historical research, which has been conducted with a descriptive-analytical approach, shows that Mansur's position before the caliphate was completely positive towards Imam Ali (AS), but after coming to power and facing the uprisings of the Banu al-Hasan (AS) and considering that most of his subjects were Sunni, he changed and became hostile towards the first two Shiite Imams. However, he adopted a mild position towards Imam Hussein (AS) and his children, who did not actively participate in these uprisings.
